Over time Gowan has evolved in its methods while maintaining the same mission. Identifying underserved segments of the market or products that were soon to be relegated became the Gowan strategy. In the past few years while working on finding new areas of the industry to continue to develop into, we identified the specialty seed treatment market as underserved. Starting out we have partnered with Valent to continue to develop NipSit in existing markets and bring a novel product in Rizolex the vegetable market.

Gowan Company started over 60 years ago, bringing innovative and cost-effective solutions to growers in the Yuma Valley.


Gowan Seed Tech was started in an effort to better serve customers.


Bringing the Gowan Muddy Boots approach to agriculture to seed treatments is how we hope to help bring innovative solutions to growers. We hope to integrate all parts of the supply chain working with breeders, dealers, seed enhancement companies, PCAs, and growers to bring new solutions to the growing problems facing the marketplace. With continued focus on developing market leading products, we hope to constantly improve what is available to the market as conditions change and pests/disease evolve.

To accomplish this goal we are working with partners in the industry to evaluate and develop best-in-class seed treatment products that will provide real solutions to grower’s problems.
